A Voice of the People - Evolved


This is my most recent painting. It is the jewel in my crown as far as my art goes; it was chosen to be part of the "Beyond the Rhythm" Art Exhibit at the Royal Ontario Art museum. I am so proud of this piece. This is a representation of the various musical genres that have shaped and defined the sounds of the African Diaspora. These have evolved through time to lend a voice to our people

    Ingrid I love the use of colour. . I can "feel the musice" moving the dancer. PS. I see how the art translates(love the cake you made for Natasha James') wedding. Great work on both fronts! Marline
